That would be great Rick. I'll do up a drawing, and thanks! I seem to have gotten some more call for these arms as of late, so when I got another question about one recently, I figure it's time to jump onboard.

Rick has made 3 different size clamps for me in the past 12 months and they are all perfect

Yes, my first crank and clamps came from Rick and I still have and use them all the time after all these years.

I'm still using an old LaGanke winder, with 36D, 26D, and 16D head clamps. But I don't think any of them would take a .750 dia. armature!

Boy...having used this clamp (made by a blogger) for a while now, it's one of those that just makes me smile every time. Reminds me of the old song..."what a difference a clamp makes" I've got an old ginormous DC85 arm in this bad boy right now, and even doing a sequential wind isn't quite so painful!

Sounds like the perfect addition to your arsenal of motor winding tools John Did you mention a DC85 arm?

Yep Paul...and it's a lovely thing...in a big brutish kind of way. Oh yeah and boy, those Pittman coms are absolute junk. Astonishing that they held together at all.
