Where do you see Batmobiles that are NOT black?

Or at an FRHO IROC format race (cars stay in the lane of their color and the drivers cycle through round-robin with their controllers) - maybe the coolest HO club that ever existed, here in the CO Front Range.
LIFE IMITATES FINE ART!
Brett Ginsberg prepared six of these (for the six lane tracks) and it was one of the most surreal events of my life (a life filled with them!), racing all six on his Scorpion layout!
These are new Johnny Lightning "T-jet" style cars prepared to the FRHO "Spec" class and, despite being very long and the rear fins being very high, these cars with these bodies handled VERY well and were very race-able! A blast, in fact! A grin that will never completely go away!
Guys who build IROC car sets get several races of break-in on a whole fleet of cars and they can just select the fastest ones for their racing fleet, so, you're welcome, Brett, for allowing us to break-in your cars and thank you for making it a life event!
Keep it in the slot,
AJ
Sorry about the nerf. "Sorry? Sorry? There's no apologizing in slot car racing!"
Besides, where would I even begin? I should probably start with my wife ...
"I don't often get very many "fast laps" but I very often get many laps quickly." ™
The only thing I know about slot cars is if I had a good time when I leave the building! I can count the times I didn't on one two three hands!
Former Home Track - Slot Car Speedway and Hobbies, Longmont, CO (now at Duffy's Raceway), Noteworthy for the 155' Hillclimb track featuring the THUNDER-DONUT - "Two men enter; one man leaves!"
