Did everything I know trying to improve the feed and had little success. I turned my computer over to Geek Squad and they did no better.
I guess it is what it is!

I am guessing the central issue is that the upload bandwidth is too small. I would suggest that whoever is running the feed try killing the lap counter inset and see if that doesn't improve the situation. Earlier today, before the counter inset was added, the stream seemed to work better. It would be worth testing.
Internet connections are typically much faster (on the order of 10x) on the download side than on the upload side. Just did a speedtest on my rather lousy AT&T connection and it measured 10.88 Mbps down and 1.77 Mbps up. My former Comcast connection (which I ditched for cost reasons) was typically 20-22 Mbps down and 3-4 Mbps up.

I realize that you can't do anything about it.

Tony,
You're right, the feed is better this morning.
Still pretty choppy. I wish they'd test dumping the lap counter to see if it would make a difference... They can always add it back if it doesn't.

I just think that it's absolutely amazing that no one has a problem with racers servicing their cars over the track surface. I once lost a race because a racer servicing his car over the track spilled braid juice in my lane. With all the rules in the IRRA® you would think there would be one for that.

"Racers cannot leave any residue on the track from
either braid juice or oiling of the car. Braid juice is to
be used sparingly on the car's braid and is not
allowed to be placed on the track's braid. Racers
should not oil their cars over the track's surface or
use excess amounts that can leave a residual
amount on the track's surface."
Fred,
Already covered. Maybe you have to start racing with a better bunch of guys. No issues like that in any Retro racing I've been in.
The feed is OK today. Good luck racers.
