Go Fast Products is proud to announce a new division of SlotCars-R-Us, "The Track"!

We are opening a 4,800 sq ft slot car facility in White House TN. The facility will house a 1/8 mile slot car drag strip and the plan is to build one of the best King tracks in the world! We hope to be open by October.

We will update our WEBSITE with new photos as we have them. Please contact us with your feedback and questions.

We are streaming the building process for the drag strip now, with famed track builder Gary Gerding making it happen. Please stay tuned and watch the process live!

Awesome! We have friends and family in Tennessee and our daughter attends Belmont U.

How far are you from the Brentwood/Franklin area?

Looking forward to racing with you when we come down south. Thanks for keeping us posted on construction  :good:

Richard,

Since I know the area well (spent my teenage years in Nashville), I'll reply for Tracy.

It's about 40 miles from Brentwood to White House.

Brentwood is south of Nashville and White House is north, both right off of I-65.

Sweet! Wife has friends near there. Looks like they do not have to scrape the floors! LOL.

Great news!

We lost our home track in Evansville. This is going to be the closest place we will have. Sure I'll be traveling quite often and I'm counting on that some of my fellow racers will do it as well. Hopefully you'll have a Retro program running there.

I would hope so too, Suar. There are a bunch of Retro racers in middle Tennessee.

This is great. New raceways opening is always good news. Tennessee has seen two new tracks opening. They are only three hours from each other so series races are possible. Good luck .

I agree. Hopefully someone will step up and have a Tennessee Retro/IRRA series. Choose your flavor of rules. We will be there either way. Can't wait!

White House is about 10 miles south of the TN/KY state line and about three miles off I-65. Fast growing but still small without the traffic problems of the Nashville area.

You figure between the Cookeville, TN, Columbia, TN, and White House, TN... it's gonna be some great racing and another good reason to live in middle TN... bring 'em on... have boxes will travel!

Just heard this morning the Talladega track has closed!!!

This just came up a couple of days ago via PM.

Eugene is having some sort of dispute with the local authorities and it seems from the sound of it he's having to disavow being a retail operation in order to avoid significant fees.

The word I get is that he is still available for organized racing on a limited schedule.

He should declare himself a non-profit like the PGA does.

Sam,

You can't just declare as a non-profit. There is an enormous set of hoops to jump through to receive that designation.

We are a little farther, but still TN, don't forget Cleveland, TN.

BTW, I'm all for having a TN racing series, maybe even two!

I live five miles from the track. Dropped by there today and met Mr. GoFast (Tracy) to see how the track is progressing. From what I can see, it should be every bit as nice as Mecca (Buena Park Raceway) and Port Jeff. Tracy's doing it right, and it should be a great place to race.

Any update on this track? Is it still an ongoing project or has it been put on hold?

Got a text from Boolman Friday that they were going to run Retros (I guess) yesterday. Haven't heard anything today on how things went. Maybe Mr. Go Fast will jump on here today and fill everybody in on yesterday's activities.

So the track is already operating? What about times, schedules, classes, etc. I've been waiting for a place to race closer than Chicago.

Talked to Gil today. Grand opening in two weeks. Soft opening went great and place is beautiful. Gonna run everything from plastic to wing to Retro and anything in between I am sure. I can't wait!

Thanks to Tracy for giving us a slot racers a nice playground.

I was there Saturday and ran some laps... quite a few people showed up and had fun. From what I could see, the drag strip is fast and smooth. The King is fast, and the power is fantastic. Seperate power supplies and caps for each lane.

Mr. Go Fast says that he's up for running any class the the racers want to run. The guys running we using Box 12, GF 12, and Retro Can-Am cars.

This place is gonna rock... in fact, it already does!!!

Guillermo, the track is finished. There are a bunch of pictures that shows the track, pit tables director stand, art work etc. on Facebook. Type in Slotcars R Us track. You are going to be surprised when you see it in person! IT IS AWESOME!

Good to hear from you again!
