I was waiting for 1969 to roll around again!  Got stuck in 1964 for the last five years and amassed a collection of old Revell and Monogram slot car stuff...but never finished these.  Did somebody mention anglewinders?

No hinges on some of these frames to try and give an uncluttered view of the center sections.

Gave this one away but...

...anglewinder easier than building an inline...

...nothing to it...

...Mike Morrissey said put this here and put that there...so I did...but how do you drive this thing?

Soul Brother #1 Keith Tanaka posted pics of friends car.  I liked it enough to copy it...super low profile frame ready for Mura B...but I ran over it with my 500 pound power wheelchair before I got a chance to hinge the pans.  No problem...relaxed joints by heating lightly with torch...flat as pancake...BANZAI!

Beautiful Bob.

The Emott Super Low Profile (SLP) design is perhaps a bit later design than would have been around for this series......But like TonyP said, we just don't have enough coverage of the Eastern guys to document things.

Tony P seemed to remember that Noose's SLP chassis might have raced at the end of May. The last pictures of an Emott car during this series time frame is at the Cobra/Mura East-West Spectacular on May 31st and they don't show an SLP chassis. But we have the entire month of June with no Emott coverage.

Your lovely chassis is a lot like Anderson's 6th race winning car shown below:

Anyway this is all just for fun :)

Onward

Thanks guys!  I'm gonna start from scratch and build a Mura B powered super clean early 2 railer with a 3 15/16 wheelbase 7/8" guide lead.  It will be long and have less visual clutter...with any luck...because there won't be any cutouts on the drop arm and pans.  Would like to build a Champion black can powered Marcos Mantis 4 rail coupe...time permitting. :drinks:
