Woodland Trace Raceway is the fourth routed track I was involved in constructing and it is my second routed track. Construction of this circuit began in November, 2011.
Woodland Trace Raceway has an average lap length of approximately 80'. Power is provided by a Pyramid PS26K 22 amp unit. There are two electrical taps into the track.
Woodland Trace Raceway is sometimes referred to as Laguna Trace Raceway on other sites because it was inspired by Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, CA. It is much distorted to fit the elongated space of my basement but I kept two key features as accurate as possible to the 1:1 circuit; the corkscrew and the Andretti hairpin.
Here are some pics, enjoy!
