Changing the brushes, springs, and shunt wire is permitted. Re-soldering the pinion is permitted. A motor cannot be replaced and the car returned to the track for any reason (practice, testing, "just for fun", etc.) once the race is underway. In the case of a motor no longer being able to run under its own power (once brushes, springs, or shunts are replaced), the car is no longer allowed on the track, i.e. the car is now black-flagged. Motor may be ID marked in tech. Motors replaced between tech and the start of the race must be re-submitted for ID mark if ID marking is implemented.

Tires: NO Speed rubber tires in any class!

General: Where not specified the Yankee USRA will follow National USRA rules.

Over-gluing penalty: Ten (10) laps will be deducted if you swipe up glue from your lane.

Race format: All Yankee USRA races will utillize a round-robin format when more than eight racers are entered.

Track power: Track power will be set at 13.5 VDC minimum, 14.3 maximum.

Yankee annual membership fee - $15.

Track time: Track time will be charged at the host track's normal rate $10.

Track responsibility: Track to be cleaned the day of or night before the race. If possible, cars using fish/natural rubber tires will not be run after the track has been cleaned. Fish rubber on the track surface is not compatible with the Wonder rubber tires and glue used by the Yankee USRA wing cars. The host raceway will supply cleaning solvent (of their choice) and rags to clean track after racing. Yankee USRA members will help clean the track after the final race is finished.

Track opens on race day at 7 AM.

Also we do have an email list that we send reminders and updates to. If you would like to be added to the list please PM me (Ray Lee) with your email address.

I am curious, please explain what this sentence means.

Thanks.

Hi Ron,

In the Yankee Series we still run with glue. If you over-glue your lane and you can't keep your car in the slot you can call track and you can remove or swipe up the glue in your lane. You will have a penalty of 10 laps deducted from your total laps.
