Why can't I copy text from an email or Word document and paste it into one of my reply posts here?

For example, I got an email from Bill Pinch which gave a short summary of the MySeries endurance race. I swept in what I wanted to copy and RMC to copy it. Then I tried to paste it into Slotblog and nothing happened. What's going on? Control C, then control V does not work either.

Dan,

If you're using Internet Explorer, that is almost certainly the source of the problem due to a change Microsoft made a couple of years after the version of IP.Board we use was released.

Try using Chrome or Firefox as your browser.

I've noticed that problem myself, along with a reluctance for the "back" button to work.  I've started using Firefox but there some annoying things about it (constantly being asked if I want my passwords saved) so I may try Chrome.

There a new version of IP.Board that should be released shortly that should resolve this problem.
