There was no race 9 of the Bay Area FCR championship due to lack of participation. Apparently Football and Nascar on TV along with numerous local baseball games preempted the final race. Therefore, the championship results from race 8 will define the championship.
Scott Campbell therefore wins the championship by default. Congratulations to Scott for great overall performances during the championship races.
Points are awarded to the first six finishers:
10 points for first place, 8 points for second, 6 points for third, 4 points for fourth, 2 points for fifth, 1 points for sixth.

The future of FCR:
While nothing has been decided yet, it is possible the Bay Area FCR will evolve into something else. In discussions with Gene a new motor is needed (probably ProSlot sealed Chinese 16D). Also there are concerns about chassis availability which could make a paradigm shift necessary.
Lastly, attendance is the main issue so it is likely that FCR will move to an evening race.
