The big brown UPS truck arrived at 9 AM with the 6v alternator from Bert's Model A Center in Denver and we got it put in by a little after 11 AM. A brief test drive confirmed it is charging, with much better regulation than the old cutout system.
No report for yesterday, as we mostly visited my relatives here in Tullahoma. We did do the tour at the George Dickel distillery but they don't allow pictures inside the plant, and the outside is just a big industrial building.
Signing off to get loaded and rolling down the road. After three weeks and two days of traveling, I'm ready to be home. Will post a few more pics after we arrive later today.
Alternator is in and tested

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap
