Keep in mind that a lo of us aren't on Facebook though.

That's the choice by the guy who runs the series, Brian Meharry.

FB does work well for posting pics immediately.

Despite the holidays, 14 racers on both the Fiedler Flat and the King, for the points race.

 

Brian Meharry takes both, with Eric Brandenburg, 2nd in bith, and myself, 3rd in both.

 

Zach Woods took the B Main on the flat, and Brad Plunket took the B Main on the King, finishing 6th overall.

I'm pretty bad about not coming here to post. Weekly racing continues each week at Chicagoland Raceway in Westmont IL. The next series race date is January 16th. Here's the Current points standings for the Mid American Winter points series.

Even my 1/32 slot.it runs pretty well. With no aerodynamic downforce you have to slow down and apply power out of the corner. I've lowered my best lap time by over 1/2 a second just by adjusting screws and stiffening the chassis and this is with plastic.

We are just now embarking on a Scaleauto program under national rules. Whether this works or not for our local racers is still an open question but has the potential for a series of races on the west coast headquartered out of Tacoma. WA
