Can anyone that has experience with this tape tell me if it is the style with very fine filaments (similar to what Hi Speed uses) or is it the thicker and more spread out filament style? I am looking for the really fine and heavily reinforced style.

M455 can best be described as lightweight.

It sounds like what you want is M464.

It's the max filament per width stuff, AKA 3M 898.

Thanks, Mike!

So the KM455 is closer to 3M's 863 then I take it.

I wouldn't call the M455 heavily reinforced at all.

I definitely would not use it for pin hole reinforcement.

It's more for reinforcing air dams on a wing car.

That is what I am going to use it for (wing cars).
