Fellas,

As mention in another C.A.R.S. topic, some stalled open wheel projects of mine...

A Dynamic chassied Ferrari that's been in limbo for quite sometime.

Next up is a Professor Motor chassis kit with a Cooper-Maserati body.

Then a restoration that is almost ready for reassembly.

And finally a chassis for which we're still trying to decide what body will be mounted...

Pete, your last chassis is an International. One of the tell-tale signs is a brass washer used in the joints where the 3 brass rails meets the steel front axle. International also used to extend the body mounts out on these chassis for sportscar bodies. My favorite chassis in your photos is your restoration project. I've been admiring these chassis on ebay for years. Judging by its motor bracket, it might be an International too. Some day I might have to build my own version of this strip chassis.

Bill,

Thanks for the info on the International chassis', I'm determined to get these cars out on the track this year .

The Race Place's new track is really fast and tests one's willingness to wring out these old cars !

Cool stuff Pete, bet the new big track will 'wring out' the Gen1 gray can. Wheeee...Zoom.

My experience... if you try and blow it up it will last a little longer.
