Pretty sure it has to do with ASCI code. I'd like to know how to do the register symbol, too.

ALT + 0174 did not work for me.

Hold Alt down while typing 0174. The ® will appear as soon as you release the Alt key.

Also make sure Num Lock is turned on if you're using the numeric keypad on your keyboard.

Gracias, Edwardo.  Worked for me as soon as I figured out the "Num Lock" thing.

I'll bet the IRRA® BOD thanks you as well.  :)

I saved an IRRA® (Wordpad) document so I can copy and paste when I need it, instead of having to remember "0174".  :)

Dan, are you good now?

For the Copyright circle C use alt 0169 the same way.

Neither one works for me. I'll just have to stick with "The one and only IRRA".

Sam, did you follow the instructions above?

You must hold the alt key down when you type in the numbers.

Guys,

The easiest way to make the circle R symbol at Slotblog is to enclose an R within parentheses.

If I replace the X with an R in the following - (x) - it displays as this ®.

If I replace the X with a C, it displays as ©.

Tried both numbers. Let's see if Greg's way works.

:good: Yup.

Of course it works. Would I lie to you guys about something like this, that doesn't involve racing, money, or women? LOL!

One caveat: the "enclose in parentheses" trick doesn't work in subject lines, only in the text block.

For subject lines, you'll need to copy and paste the ® or © from another post.

Forgot to mention that you can do the trademark symbol the same way... enclose tm within parentheses and you will get ™.

For subject lines, you'll need to copy and paste the ® or © from another post.

Or post them from the 3rd keyboard on an Android phone (from mine, anyway)
