I need a bunch of metal can motor arm spacers for 16D/26D and 36D. Prefer non-magnetic. Also, is there a source for the fiber washer found at the comm end on these vintage cans? Looking for 40 to 50 of each.

Any input appreciated.

Mura phenolic spacers are still available HERE.

I don't know of any specific difference between vintage and modern spacers; please explain for my knowledge. If the evil VP finds out I've been using modern spacers, am I in trouble? :shok: :)

Joe,

I don't see ny reason not to use the excellent spacers available from Slick 7. Do people really concern themselves with the authenticity of arm spacers?

ncphobbies.com carries a 10-pak of phenolic washers (oil slingers) for $1.98 + S&H.  These will work with the .2mm shafts on 16D & 26D motors.  36D size phenolics you'll probably have to scrounge - not sure if drilling/reaming the small washers above with get you what you want on a 36D.

Greg, not really worried about authenticity, just function.

Yes, those larger phenolic ones are what I would like.

Am I reading that wrong or is it $2.98 for one spacer? Probably not but the quantity is not listed anywhere on any of Slick 7's offerings that I see.

Also, I do not see the shaft size listed on any of those packages. Is it safe to say they are all .078?

Still need spacers/washers for .092.

Here are the antique ones. Sorry, pic sucks.

The phenolic Mura spacers I provided a link to at PCH are twelve per pack; it says so in the product description. They are for .078" shafts, as are all motor spacers at PCH.

HERE are your 36D phenolics at Professor Motor.

They have .078" phenolics also.
