I talked to his wife this morning and the prognosis is not good. He has serious liver/kidney issues.
Please keep this great guy in your prayers.

Praying for you, Ray. You were a real gentleman when I recently purchased two flexi cars from you and your quality of workmanship shows as they are the absolute best in my collection.
My prayer is that whatever is needed, organ donation etc, will happen quickly and you'll soon be on the road to full recovery. Psalm 103: 1-5.

He was a great mentor to me and especially Ezra when we started racing in 2009.

My prayers as well go to him and his family. Very distressing news when one of us is laid low by ill health. Many of us are getting on in years and the aches and pains only accumalate. May Ray find comfort in the love of those close to him and in the knowledge that his slot car friends and associates both personal and thought the internet are pulling for him.

His wife, two kids, and a close friend were at his side.
While the prognosis is not good, it's a tiny bit better than I thought, leaving a glimmer of hope.
Please keep praying.

God bless you, Ray, and may he help you pull through.
Good luck, bro.
Remember, two wrongs don't make a right... but three lefts do! Only you're a block over and a block behind.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Be strong, we are pulling for your speedy return... we miss ya!
I've been through med issues that just might be similar to yours and learned some of it 'trial by fire'.
You have my cell if you are up to talking slot cars or medical stuff, give a call my friend.
One day at a time - and hope today is a good one for you.
Peace,
Gator Bob
