But being ran over by a car/truck/tractor trailer ruins more than a day. At least from what I've seen over the years.
Hope you're feeling better soon.

So what happened? You OK?...

OK, guys… just getting back from seeing Dennis. He's conscious (as you can see: he's POSTING from the hospital) and is fully aware, talking, all moving parts are working… There's no details beyond this about the accident…
Let's all pull for the Foam getting better very soon…

Getting hit by a car is not a good substitute hobby. Feel better soon.

Geez... I'm hoping it was 1/24.
Crash House - bad.
If all moving parts are working going to your house is a best option.

Be well, Dennis.

As bad as it sucks, count your blessings, it could have been worse.
Get well soon, Foamy.

Ouch! Get well soon, Foamy. Been there, didn't have to go the hospital, but banged up enough. It sucks! Take care.

Maybe next time you'll just get hit by an errant slot car.
Get well, Foamy

Get well soon, Dennis.
I don't know if hospital procedures are different where you are compared to here, but HERE you have to specifically ASK for pain meds... don't assume they will just bring them without a specific request.
Remember, two wrongs don't make a right... but three lefts do! Only you're a block over and a block behind.

Damn, Foamy! You get well ASAP.
And in the future, just stick to slot racing... you're too old to be break-dancing in the midde of the street...

Meanwhile, get rested and patched up. Good time to dream up a faster car.

Last night, he looked rough with cuts and bruises and a few stitches and complaining of discomfort, not pain. Mike Brannian and I left when they brought in the portable X-ray machine to check him out after his "discomfort" comment (tailbone).
Again, he was talking, knew where he was, who we were, even made a comment about not being at the track this weekend!
He doesn't have any memory of what happened which might be a good thing. The Gardena police had Western Ave shut down between 130th & El Segundo Blvd (about one city block) and routing all the northbound Western traffic down 130th (a small street), so this wasn't incidental contact. The police told me very little but the car involved did not leave the scene... that's a good thing.
My opinion is that Dennis (Foamy) is in the hospital until Saturday minimum.
Let's keep Dennis in our thoughts.

I hope you're well enough to go home SOON, Dennis. That's the best medicine I can think of.
I am not a doctor, but I played one as a child with the girl next door.
