Interesting. Maybe tell what brand and model car you are working on in the lead-on; not everyone is familiar with 1/32 cars.

The brand of car we used in the video was a NSR.

This video isn't brand specific though because any brand of slot car's performance will benefit from taking the time to set the ride height correctly.

If there are brand specific things that people would like to see let me know and we can try to implement them into future videos.

Thank you for your input. We want feedback so that the videos can be a good resource for slot car enthusiasts.

Hi Don,

Tell Dave I've been watching all your videos and learning all of Clover Leaf's secrets and we're going to kick their butts this year at the 24 hour race.  :aggressive:  :dance4:  :tease:

We have a car doing at least .7 of second faster on my track than any car we had last year. Thanks for all the tips.

C'ya in couple of weeks.  :)

Pappy,

Great to hear about your car for the 24 hour race. I know Steve has been hard at work here, too.

Funny thing about Dave and his tips. He will give you just enough to keep you racing but he always has a trick or two up his sleeve.

The forthcoming info from all of the veteran racers at Cloverleaf is pretty cool. Their willingness to help out the new guys is really making for a competitive series. Our current series on Wed shows ALL of the racers having improved their times the last couple of weeks. It makes for some great racing.

The vintage Le Mans class is so tight simply coming out once almost guarantees that you won't win or even place well. Talk about pressure!

I'm looking forward to this years Michigan 24. I believe that it will be very competitive for all of the teams.

Covering it will be fun. Maybe I can get you to say something on camera this year?

See you soon,

Don

You have trouble getting Butch to talk? Usually, the problem is getting him to shut up... LOL!

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

My problem is, I'm always talking but I never say anything.  :laugh2:

Good luck getting me to talk on camera, I'm extremely camera shy. I don't even like getting my picture taken.
