Just one of - Over a Million Sold.

 

I took a good used chassis and 'previously detailed' body combo and some NOS parts to build a "Manta Ray" Price tribute car.

 

It will make its first appearance at the 2nd annual Rods and Rails drag proxy.

 

Kemtron X503-8v power and 18t pinion.

Cox guide and 47t spur gear.

Parma tires.

When I look at the moon man suit, I see blue in some images ... but then it turns to grey in other images ... am I just crazy on this? My daughter sees a black suit with blue stripes!

I gotta admit, I've seen many different motors "Frankenstiened" into these Classic chassis over the years but never a padlock  :)

So it 'hit the strip' last night. And we all got a good  :laugh2:  :sarcastic_hand:

 

After the final round of their regular race I put local racer Lee Fish at the controls for 3 passes. :clapping:

 

Wheelied and popped the slot every time .. with those fronts it found it's way back in the slot .. on that pass it jumped out 3 times and went back twice and made a wild 'sparky' pass . :shok:  :D  When it goes up the lead wires limit the height and the car gets 'wild'...

 

Add more weight Captain Price.... :crazy:

Measure ride height :laugh2: it's a drag car. We don't worry to much bout dat.

 

I never checked it and now the car/driver/poster is on display at TheRaceway.

 

The rears are 1 1/16th .. guess would be about 1/8th" or .0000000000000001 au :shok:  :sun_bespectacled:

Fabulous build Bob!

A great way to remember Ray, my apologies for being absent so long live seriously got in the way.
Got desktop workplace and internet sorted so ran out of excuses not to visit and build again  :) 

Only difference now there build on the same side of the pond as you guys. (Brazil)
