Wow. I raced with him Saturday nite and he was right on top. He looked pretty good and we spent the end of the night running old cars from the '60s. One of my favorite things to do with Dave since he remembers everything from back then.
 
Hope you can put this behind you, we have lots of old days to reminisce about.

Spoke with Sano Dave a few minutes ago. He is still in the hospital and resting well. He is also in good spirits.

I've always been struck by how well Sano Dave is thought of within the slot car community.

Sano Dave remains in The Community Hospital in Munster, IN, but has been moved to a different room.

I have heard he is no longer in the hospital and is "doing better".

I just talked to Sano Dave.

He is still in the hospital, but sounds real good, and has hopes of being released in the next day or two.

He almost gave me the OK to post his number, but he's been busy with seeing doctors, going for tests, field family calls, etc., so he decided it might be better to keep a low profile until he is released.
