This Saturday, instead of our usual Flat track race, we have moved the race to the King track, so it will be the official last warm-up race before the Zimmerman Festival of Speed, which is April 25-26.

So, on Saturday, April 11, the track will open at 8 AM with Formula One tech and racing getting started around the usual 10 AM.

Following the Formula One race, there will be our traditional lunch break, and after lunch, between usually 1:30 to 2 PM, the Can-Am race tech will start.

Once again, note that this racing this Saturday is on the King track, and it will be the last King track race before the two-day Zimmerman Race.

Hope that everyone can come out and join us.

Not so sure that wing would make it under the bridge in the black lane... or even the red lane for that matter!

I think it would be close.  You have to reach in to get cars, so there's fairly good clearance under the bridge.

The thing is that Chap has upright supports and in keeping with the very legal body itself, there should be a consideration, FWIW.

I highly doubt anyone would show up with one, BUT Earl could do one up nicely I'm sure.

I will be installing a plasmaglow under chassis light kit to it:

At BPR today in a final warmup before the Zimmerman in 2 weeks, Bill Vanderziel prevailed in F1 followed by John Cukras in 2nd and John Wakamatsu in 3rd.  Can Am turned out to be a regular slugfest with 6 racers within a lap of each other with 2 heats to go and the win up for grabs!  When the dust settled Alex Freund ended up on top followed closely by Phil Nyland and Bryan Warmack.  Great race!     Pics to follow in the race report............
