Here's a video clip in slow motion of a recent D3 Hardbody race at Buena Park Raceway.

The short video was taken with an iPhone 6 plus. The slow motion gives you a better view of how these cars handle in the turns.

Check out Gonzo's (Hector Gonzalez) '67 Chevelle on the yellow lane around the 20 second mark. His car is on two wheels near the end of the deadman turn.

Later, towards the end of the video (1:06), Gonzo's car deslots and two cars following deslot and crash. The slo-mo sound is cool.

You can view the video at a higher resolution (720p) by changing the "settings" on the YouTube menu in the lower right of the video.

Great class to race in. It kind of reminds me of the old Aurora T- jets.
Joseph Migliaccio. Karma it's a wonderful thing.

"Drive it like you're in it!!!"

"If everything feels under control... you are not going fast enough!"

Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Got the chance to watch a little of the race and saw those wonderful scratch built oldies nascars. I really liked the old time white impala w/wings - my dad had one 1/1. I decided to p/u some parts before l flew back to Hawaii - went to LBGP.

Here's another Slo Mo video clip of a "mixed" D3 hardbody race on May 17, 2015 at Buena Park Raceway.

This race had mostly GTPs with a couple of older NASCARs ('62 gold Pontiac, '70 white/black Road Runner).

Just like the previous slo mo video clip, check out the Road Runner on yellow lane (1:31) as it's on two wheels thru the deadman turn.

Also, notice the cars on black and purple lanes thru the deadman (0:31) as they "chatter/hop" thru the tight turn.

There's a crash at the end of the video as a 962 Porsche deslots across the yellow lane as the '70 Road Runner approaches with the 962 doing an airborne 360 before landing (2:53).

The slo mo video was taken using an iPhone 6 plus. You can adjust the video to 720p resolution by changing the settings control on the lower right corner of the YouTube video.

Keith :)
