Just some 'stock photos' of a motor on ebay. Post just as a place to document the 'existence' of these Behemoths.

I've never had one... and darn it ...didn't get in on that sale of the case'o motors buy it now sell off.

Cool motors :good:

The arm and comm are good quality with good solder tabs for the wire. Lams of the stack are uniform and level.

One is now housing a RAM 7 pole, 3 volt arm and bolted in the rebuilt VW Inch Pincher :D

I have never seen one.... It is funny, at the time, we all thought they were inferior Japanese copies. Looking at them today, their castings were as good as the Pittman and better than the Rams, and their lam plating has held up very well over time. The arms may not have been as "hot" who knows??

In pictures the lam plating and cast parts finish looks good. How do the magnets feel compared to a Pitt or a Ram?

The Jap made Kemtron mags seem stronger than US.

It could be the thinner and higher plate count.

The magnets, at least from that last box/batch sell off are amazingly strong.
Easily up to and maybe even stronger than RAM .

Thanks Paul, that's what I was guessing that they had good 'tug' with the thick plates.

What were those selling for again?

Think they were something crazy like $12 or $14 something like that . Linked to the Proxy thread the moment I saw them/grabbed a couple and they disappeared!

Definitely good "tug" or cog even with the standard green wire arm whatever the voltage was/is.
