A place to put them...

If the can was painted a different color did the specs change?

Post the branded, dyed, or other 'Factory Works' versions.

I thought the 26D rev'd higher than that... little porkers at 38 grams. The Champion 617 weighs even more than that.

For brevity I will simply refer to the motors as 13D's, 16D's, 26D's and 36D's. Since there were so many versions of the 16D, I will have to break them down further. In my experience all the winds were the same within a family of motors. The only difference was the color of the endbell and the color of the can.

I have unwound hundreds of Mabuchi arms over the years. I still unwind modern 16D arms and if I can, burned up ones from any and all manufacturers and count the turns. Here is what I have found:

13D - 110 t #33 (same as FT16-D)

FT-16 - 130 t #34

FT16D - 110 t #33

FT16-D (post 1968) - not sure about that one. Maybe 75 t #31

26D - 75 t #30

36D - 110 t #31
