The Can-Am class feature Tamiya plastic slot car bodies. These include the Lola T-70, Lotus 40, McLaren Elva and others. These bodies are light and easy to build. The Can-Am class specifies the use of a Deathstar or ProSlot 2002 Speed FX balanced sealed 16D motor. With a simple body swap, the chassis used on a Can-Am car can also be used on a Gran Sport car.
