I know across the country there are different styles. Davis cars in New Mexico, Outback in Virginia, Srp doing some things in Iowa. There also was a FCR class for a while.

What are people thoughts on this? Ideas? And, is this class gaining popularity?

I love 4.5" wheelbase Dirt Late Model racing on ovals and tri-ovals.

Makes my heart race almost as much as wing cars  :clapping: :good:

I also enjoy 4.5" dirt late model racing on an oval. It's my favorite class at my local track in Northwest Ohio.

In my opinion....

The FCR-NCS Dirt Late Model class cars on an oval was about as much fun as you (I) could have racing slot cars.

A place where I could run with or out run the top racers in Florida.

Cheap, fast, competitive and fun ... I couldn't have that much 'slot fun' regardless of cost.

I'd bet a 4.5" flexi DLM would be as much fun.

Matt, you guys ran them with wings ... correct?

Pablo, didn't you win the "NIGHTMARE ON THE OVAL" with 4 1/2 at Raceworld Speedway in 2011?

I am the 2010 AMSRA Advanced Dirt Late Model Champion :sun_bespectacled:

They awarded me a new DiFalco:

Whether or not that was the infamous "Nightmare" race, I don't remember.

I built a TFlex according to Cheater's instructions for an oval and the car was absolutely untouchable.

It was a nightmare for Chad for sure - he was the only one who could stay with me until he cooked his motor in heat 7.

Thanks for asking, Red. Those races were fun and I miss them.

I'm sure that was the Nightmare. Chad cooked his motor because he had a 14t pinion. LOL!!!

Mid South USRA runs 4 1/2" Bodies on 4" Chassis. They run surprisingly well.
