Picked these up a while ago. Do they have any value? The reason I ask is because they have some Latex paint freckles on them that I can remove but I wanted to make sure it was worth the effort. Judging by the paint scheme I would say 1980's, is that correct? I can't find any reference to them anywhere, Thanks

Joe, ToyTech, owned by Steve Foster in Santa Maria, CA, still makes bodies. Steve also owns the local raceway in Santa Maria & has a very nice slot car museum on the second floor. I'm guessing Mr. Big is Jeff Biglow. A big man, he painted bodies & lived in that part of CA. Within the past year Jeff moved to the Midwest, but I forget where. Those paint jobs look to be some of Jeff's work. I would say they're from the 90's rather than the 80's. Someone on here who races at Fosters is Mark Wampler. He would have more detailed info than I do.

Thanks for the detailed info Bill. After I looked at the bodies I think you may be right about the 90's. They look like early 90's body styles to me. Some odd ones like a Cougar etc.

Anyone have any estimate as far as rarity or value? These were marked $14 and that was probably 20 years ago.

I saw Toytech , so had to check it out.  Yeah, that is some much older product,  prob early / mid 90's.  Toytech wasn't started until around '89  Steve's  current product cards are dark orange.  Those are before I got back into slot cars.   Ernie Funez used to paint for Steve, but those look earlier before Ernie.   It doesn't look like his work.

thanks for the props, Bill, but that's not my work. I didn't get back into painting untill the early 2000's....

I'm curious if there's any other info on the card on the top of the bodies??? That might be something Phillipe might be able to provide more insight and info

Not trying to put a damper on this, but the above is 15-20 years too new to be in PDL's wheelhouse or collectible.
