In an effort to revitalize slot car racing in the South, I have decided to start the Outlaw Scale Series, to run in conjunction with Retro South . The intent is to have an affordable and fun racing series with a variety of cars being raced that travels around the Southeast. With your help and participation I know we can make it happen!

The rules will be short and sweet with the main emphasis on FUN and good competition!

We will run 4" Flexi Nascar, 4" Flexi GTP and Retro Can-Am at each event.

The first season will consist of 5 races at 5 different tracks spanning 3 states.

There will be a points system, with each individual receiving one drop built in per class, per season. The last race of the year will be a double points event.

We will hand out box plaques at each race for 1st-3rd, TQ and Concours. At the seasons final race, the year end championship awards will be handed out.

We will qualify each class and seed the mains accordingly.

All race results will be merged and sorted by highest lap total. It does not matter what main the highest lap total comes from, that racer will be the overall winner.

All cars will be impounded after each race to ensure we have enough corner marshalls.

We will try to ensue that raceway hours are the same at each event, though we cannot guarantee it, due to circumstances beyond our control. Hours will always be posted in advance.

The goal is for each raceway to open at 8:00am and for racing to start by 10:45am.

The entry fees will be $10 per class raced with a $10 pit pass.

There will be a $30 motor claimer option. The 4th place finisher will have the option to buy the winnner's motor after each race. If 4th place denies then the 5th and 6th place finisher are next in line. If the 4th-6th finishers deny the motor no one else gets the option.

I will have the final say on the interpretation of our rules. The series tech tools will be the official tools and gauges for all tech procedures. Personal tech tools will not overrule the series tools.

This season will be shortened to five events due to time constraints, our standard season will be at least six races.

Retro Hawk motors only. Don't forgot to check the rules thread pinned at the top.

If I missed something or if you have questions just let me know.
