A film recap by GM Photographic featuring Corvette at the 12 Hours of Sebring 1957, with over-the-top narration. Great views of the Corvette Super Sport and the rather crude Sebring track which clearly illustrates its airbase origin.

What I would give to have been present to see a 65-driver Le Mans style start, but at three years of age, it probably wouldn't have registered very much...

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

Gasten Andry, the Swiss co-driver of the winning Corvette, owned Gasten Andry Ferrari in Framingham, MA, until his death in 2012.

One of my old slot racing friends, Chuck Ellis, was a mechanic there before he owned his own shop in Northboro. Chuck has always favored Alfa Romeos since his high school years.

I heard they weren't going to make yardsticks any longer.

Seriously who did not fall in love with Alfas after the Graduate movie came out? I still enjoy driving on Highway 1 from time to time.
