I built this one for the Hillclimb at P1. Duffy nosepiece and bracket. Three rails of .055" wire. 4 x .9". I built it with standard Can-Am jig wheels so you could run F1 sized gears for more gearing options. The original couple chassis I made with small rears just suffered in the gearing department.
Ran very well. I let Marcos Ramos use it as my knees were not up to running another race. As you can see he won and also set fastest lap. I tried it with the Porsche body but it ran the best with this one. Ifter the race I gave it to Terry Tawney to replace that too short one I originally built him.

This one is for this weekend's race at Holly Hill. Same dimensions as the one above but with .063" rails I added a shaker plate up front for bit more nose weight as HH has a kink that drops off as you go through it and did not want the nose to lift out. Will see how it runs this weekend.

Such a great chassis. I could see a guy in Wyoming spec'd out with his flip phone owning this chassis. Why the guy is a legend in these parts and if only his messenger was not full I could message him to tell him to buy it!

I went with a longer 4" wb and .875 guide lead to get through the flat deadman better.
All .047 rails, .040 split pans and .063 outer pans. Bare chassis weight is 47 grams.
Made it to use F1 sized rear tires so I have some options on gearing. My roller skate version I previously built could only use a 26 and motor never was geared right even on a king track.

Tony,
Try the new Red Fox Gears . I could get a 28 tooth in the Can-Am plus Ralph ran at the Sano with .760 tires.
Just a thought for the Master.

I've been able to get the red(28T) Red Fox gears from Eagle, for the last month, or so.

28's mesh great but not the 27s and definitely not the 29s.
Got to be careful too with them and the Kofords on stripping the set screw. Heavy handed yanno. LOL

I have been able to get good gear mesh with all three using arp angled pinions. Noose, you saw the 29 I used in my car at the SANO it was very smooth.
Maybe I was just lucky.
By the way nice chassis Tony.
