I still have not driven one of these nor have I even seen one run but they seem to run OK.

This was the first one I ever made. It was for Jay Kisling and he won the Checkpoint cup and was second the following year.

This I am pretty sure is Matt Bruce's Checkpoint Cup winner.

Chubby won the Fall Brawl last year over Duran, who also ran one of my chassis with one of these two.

One day I am going to have to see a RetroPro run, they tell me they are blazing fast. I was building one to try on our King track down here but the fool ran it out of business before I could get the motor for it.

Yeah, they're fast and with the X12 motor a lot of drivers can't handle them, turning races into crash-fests. I found on a track that's less than a punch-bowl, the big dog is almost as fast down the straight and you can turn a faster lap since you have more control.

I believe that this is one of the Tony P RP chassis that I sold to Duran.

I remember having a similar chassis and they were very smooth and easy to drive. The one I had got in a wreck and the pan hinge came undone. At the speed these things run, big damage happens when they wreck!

I used a chassis just like these to win the C – and while running second in the B easily to make the move up. I "let the smoke out" a little early and had to drop out!!

But those chassis are very smooth and easy to drive!! It's a very fun class but they are so fast that accidents happen very quickly, and being that they are soldered wire cars, things get bent!!   :) :)

Tony's chassis work very well in the class!!

She's real fine, my 409!!!

The "Boola" build style has worked good on our BPR King track!  Both look very nice!

I'm not sure which tire works best--I've got the O-ring style on mine--but the others could work well too!

He can read minds too. I was just going to ask for a top side shot. :)

I haven't seen a full plumber built for racing in decades. Very nice. :good:
