We just started running stock cars on roadcourses down here in Gator-land. The first race was on a Hillclimb and was won by Brian Ambrose running my Holly Hill oval car with a ton of lead on it.

The chassis has .078" rails, .016" pans, and .016" inner pan. Originally made to run on the high-speed Holly Hill oval where I won three in a row and the 2014 oval championship. It weighed 120 grams without the added lead for the roadcourse and about 135 with it.

Lent this one this past weekend to Danny Zona who can outdrive me running an FCR. He ran good, better than I could drive it.

This one has 2-1/2 rails of .063", .032" pans, and center plate. Duffy bracket. Built this Ed Sohl style; thanks, Ed, for the advice.

My back-up loaner car also ran well in the hands of Marcus Ramos. This is an early prototype of the for coming Duffy kit. Rails are .063" and pans are .032". Center plate is .025".

Hmmm... going to Maine perhaps?

Hey, what ever happened to the "upcoming Duffy kit" or the upcoming Duffy anything? Seems DHI has become only of legend. I only ask since the Duffy stuff is referenced with such reverence. I have no experience or contact or engagement on any level with anything trademarked "Duffy, DHI or otherwise". I'm thinking it's some kind of east coast thing. I'm just say'in.

New NASCAR I made for the Holly Hill track. Holly Hill is as close to a flat track as we have in Florida. It ran very well and I managed 2nd which on that track is excellent for me.

.063" rails with half square brass rod rails along side the motor. Pans are .032" and center pan is .025".

New Stock Car for the Hillclimb in Melbourne. .047" rails this time. Based off a similar styled Can-Am.

Can-Am works great Holly Hill and at P1 on the Hillclimb. For a stiffer chassis it generates a log of mechanical grip.

At Holly Hill I used it for both Can-Am and added weight on the back of pans for GTC.

We ran Stock Cars on the Holly Hill road course this past Saturday. I won and set fastest lap (we don't qualify for the second class) with the same chassis I won on the oval there. All I did was add some weight to get it up to 139 grams and it was killer.

It uses Evil Bucks pans, center pan, nosepiece, and an old schooled ChicagoLand steel tongue. Both rails are .063. IMG_0795.JPG IMG_0794.JPG

My back-up chassis was just as good, but motor was not as fast. It is a three-railer, the inner rails are .063" and outer .047". I used split pans on the back of this one. Performance between the two was minimal. The two-railer above seemed to have a bit more bite with the same tires.
