SCRRA racing returns to the Flat track this weekend at BPR.  At the request of several racers we will again allow the Anglewinder Coupes to run with the Can Ams........OR........perhaps run separate races if enough racers of each class show up!  We'll see what happens on race day!

So, the usual schedule with F1 first and tech inspection at 10:00AM followed by lunch and then Can Am/ Coupe.  Don't put the Anglewinders away yet...........bring em back out to BPR Saturday and join in the Flat track fun!  :good:  See you there!

Another intense day of action on the BPR flat track yesterday!   In F1 Mill Conroy ran away with a blistering lap total of 305 to edge Bryan Warmack and Gary Donahoe who were separated by a short straight for 2nd and 3rd!

A real barnburner in Can Am as all the fastest qualifiers battled it out while Gary Donahoe came from the B Main to sneak in and top them all!  At the end Gary just eged Bryan Warmack in 2nd with Rick Linn a close 3rd and John Cukras just feet behind!  Great race!

All pics and more in the race report coming up..............

      Howie,

it was a GREAT turnout yesterday and just a SUPER Can Am race.  About the 3rd heat everyone could see exactly where this was heading...........and it was going to be TOUGH as just about ALL 8 cars were evenly matched! John ran a great race and finished just feet behind Rick for the last podium spot! Super job by SCRRA Retro newcomer Jim Lane who also came from the B and ran a VERY respectable 286 laps. Congrats to Mill and Gary! :good:

You're right Bryan, The Can-Am race was awesome! Everyone in the A main was on their game. Gary flat ran super all day.

Great turn out. Had fun in both classes. Can't wait for the next one.

And thanks Gary for another very good F-1 loaner. One of these days..........
