Phil,

I've been eyeing a Fender Classic '60's "Jazzmaster" with a 24" fretboard. These look and sound pretty damn nice.

But, that Beretta looms large!

I have three ads across the top of the page. usually all different. But many times I'll have two identical ads and one odd one. So if I get all three matching will I win, like with a slot machine?

No. I get the same ad arrangement, and I haven't won anything.

But if something interesting pops up, please feel free to post it here. Speaking of which, here's another offering from the "ZiNG Toy Shop":

Mike,

Had another guitar add appear from GuitarCenter for Father's Day sales. Ain't biting as I just bought an upland bird SG.

But, seeing the add has provoked me to crack a beer and plug in the Telecaster for a spell. Fooling around with stuff from Fleetwood Mac "Future Games" album/CD. Fun stuff!

Happy Father's Day everyone.

This one appeared on my login page juat now. Since I've never been married, I feel that this ad proves the internet isn't as smart as most people think.

Phttt! Horsepoop. Just have to find the right person I suppose. Mike, ever hear of a band Wishbone Ash? Been doing some of their songs lately. Some good stuff. May have to stick a humbucker into one of my Tele's to get that sound. Naw, I'll just work around it.

Youtube Wishbone Ash IV or Argus. Some pretty good stuff there. A couple of pretty talented guitar players.

Just another reason to try different tunes. I can't believe I'm thinking of dropping a humbucker in one of Tele's!

Gee, Ron, lighten up a bit, will ya? You don't have to read this thread, but you do, apparently. Besides, ads you can't see wouldn't have much subject matter

And speaking of ads, this one has been appearing a lot recently:

I don't particularly want to click on it, so, does anyone know what it is?

Sorry, should I be wearing these ads like a Badge of Honour?

There reason I read this thread is because it appears in my "New Posts" with a star :)

I thought that your original post was a complaint - my mistake :)

Ron, the reason the star is there is because you posted in this thread.

Like television, sometimes the ads are better than the program.

Really? That dinky little thing? I'm skeptical.

This one appeared this evening. I clicked on it, and found that it's a good example of an answer to a question nobody asked. I hope they make enough money to comfortably retire.

Mike,

Well, you ain't gonna believe it, but, saw another Fender Telecaster ad.Got two, but, this looks like something I NEED[Want?].

Not very good at posting pics, ads. It's on GC #1500000004987. 3 color sunburst, R/W fretboard. Already have my SG's, so, this looks very doable. Ordering tomorrow before the SWC at BPR .Eh! I better control myself with these Fender's! Now, I'll have three Tele's! Mike, you really need to plug one in. A good one. You'll know why I swear by them. It's that sound you can get.

One would think that, but it doesn't seem to follow suit with what ads I see. I mean they seem to be really random and typically nothing I'd be looking/searching for.

I occasionally work on learning to play keys. For far with little success. Anyway, this reminds me of this guy's 3 note method. At the end he makes a cool 12 bar blues out of it.

Phil,

Thanks for posting that! Brings back some old memories. I used to roadie for a band whose keyboard player used a B3, and man, that thing was HEAVY!!! Without Googling it, my memory says between 300 and 350 pounds. Thank God for the dolly!

And Rick, I clean my cookies out on a weekly basis.
