The chassis was built by one of ex-racers, Mike Lacy.

That car is a beauty, Mike! What a work of art the chassis is. My favorite item on the car is it's front leaf spring suspension. It's unusual to see one of these on a slot car.

Holy Cow, there are a lot of things going on under that body.... Harnessing a Mura to a big body using skinny wheels is a challenge.
To say the least

Mike didn't say what that Mura Green can was, but Mura sold them loaded with short-stacked Grp. 12s to 24S & everything in between.

Yeah, I figured it's probably not a hi powered Mura, but the build is awesome nonetheless.

It's a machine wound arm with green wire.
Wasp, Super Wasp?
Dave Crevie is running his nice Jaildoor 2E.

My guess it's a Wasp. Plenty of power for this car.
Love the frame rails, crossmembers, trailing arms, front monoleaf .... and the color is so creamy.
Very nice.

On a different subject, somehow talk of an Ulrich chassis with suspension, on EBay, segued into Adam's & Sons suspension chassis.
Mark had brought in a car previously to show.
Anyway, he mentioned, along with a big collection of them, he has the ledger for the name and addresses of all the people who ever purchased one of those chassis, as all sales were direct.

Mark has a really incredible collection of scratch built and parts built cars from the
sixties and seventies, some of which he has restored to running condition. And he
knows the histories behind most of them. I'm just trying to get the cars I built back
then back up and running.
