The decision has been made to run the F1 class on the new yellow Dragon flat track in our race on November 15. There has been little input here on the blog so it was discussed among the drivers in attendance at SCR last weekend. The support for running the new track was unanimous so that is the decision.
Race day will be...
1) Can-Am on Purple Angel
2) Stock Car on Purple Angel
3) F1 on the Dragon
I know we usually run F1 first but running it last gives guys more opportunity to run the new track in practice. Setting up an F1 for this track is going to be simple. Run your normal setup for Eddie's and you'll be fine. Don't be afraid to run 115-120 grams or more and don't be shy about using a choke if you have one. Although this is a technical track, it is easier to drive than Eddie's, not even accounting for conditions etc.,
