Today I had a brief conversation with him from the hospital. For those of you who have religious convictions it is time to pray very hard for his recovery. His cancer has gone to stage IV. I truly hope he makes a comeback but I don't hold much confidence in that happening. But he's a tough old guy and I hope he proves me wrong.

Thanks for the update, Bob.That's not exactly what I wanted to hear. I thought he may have been feeling a bit better since he was posting on HRW once again.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Marty, my words are inadequate.... have no fear and think back on the good times. God bless you.
Remember, two wrongs don't make a right... but three lefts do! Only you're a block over and a block behind.

Wow! I had no idea. Marty and I had discussed telephony on a couple of occasions, an arcane subject in today's digital age.
Give 'em hell, Marty! You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh, how I hate to hear this. Met Marty on his visits to Slots of Fun in Abbeville years ago for the SERRA races. Great guy!
Best wishes, Marty.....

Very sad news! I sent him a package recently and wondered why I didn't get my usual phone call.
Another one of the good guys! Praying for his recovery...
