First class for Sano 9 is F1 cars on the flat track.

Twelve entries.

Qualifying is just beginning. Top four seed into the A Main, bottom eight will duke it out in the B Main, with the top four from the B moving up to the A Main.

Sano 9 live video stream

Because of cable length limitations, the video stream will only be able to show a portion of the track itself.

Chuck turned the exact same lap total as he did in winning the same class at last year's Sano. In fact, he used the same car and the same motor! The Samson-chassised car was originally owned by Graham Climpson, who lent it to Chuck for last year's race win. After the race, Chuck make Graham an offer for the car and eventually Graham agreed to sell it to him.

Interesting. So two of the three cars, the Samson and the Warmack, first and third... West Coast builders doing very well so far!

Way to go, Chuck! Looked like a fun and relatively "clean" race on the ol' interweb!

Sorry about the nerf. "Sorry? Sorry? There's no apologizing in slot car racing!"

Besides, where would I even begin?   I should probably start with my wife ...

Well, the Samson F1 has been the F1 chassis to beat for a number of years. I'm not sure any other F1 chassis design has won as many Retro races as it has.

Chuck Gambo to beat a quality field like that with a two year-old car and motor just shows the quality of the car and driver. Go Man Go
