This year's D3 Hardbody Nats at Buena Park Raceway had plenty of close racing and a lot of fun as usual. We did have several regular racers unable to participate this year but still had a good turnout regardless. Besides the fun, we did see two new hardbody total lap records set, one by Gonzo (Hector Gonzalez) in the 3 C's race with 254 laps vs. the old record of 247 and Ryan Miller in the '57-'79 NASCAR race with 232 laps vs. old record of 231. Also, Gonzo nearly became the first to run a lap under 5 seconds but we'll have to wait until another day before the 5 second barrier is broken at BPR.
