I was gonna call Mike and sing "Happy Birthday" to him, but settled for remarking on his noted natal anniversary via Facebook. Horrors!
He probably wouldn't have appreciated my dulcet bass rendition anyway...

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

Have a great birthday, Mike. Hope you took the day off and enjoyed it.
Sorry about the nerf. "Sorry? Sorry? There's no apologizing in slot car racing!"
Besides, where would I even begin? I should probably start with my wife ...

The only thing I know about slot cars is if I had a good time when I leave the building! I can count the times I didn't on one two three hands!

MIke, I hope you had a good Birthday. And welcome to The Swingin' Sixties!
I am not a doctor, but I played one as a child with the girl next door.

Thanks to everyone for the kind and overwhelming amount of birthday wishes, here and on Facebook.
They really cheered me up, as while I rallied a bit for my party on Sunday, I've really been under the weather for the last five days.
What's it like to turn 60?
NBD.
Maybe just a gentle reminder that I have to buckle down on accomplishing my plans for doing great things with my raceway and slot racing, and most importantly, make my terrific wife, Jackie, proud, of whatever I do.
Life is short, as the recent passing of two great friends, Manta Ray Price, and Sano Dave Fiedler, has exhibited.
