Most of the racers recovered from the beatin' they took the day before at the enduro! And a decent turn-out had 22 racers contesting Can-Am on Sunday...

A great weekend of SCRRA Retro racing made a little bit more interesting with the inclusion of the very successful NASCAR Enduro. We will certainly do it again next year and several racers have suggested perhaps a NASCAR race here and there!!
The SCRRA wishes to thank everyone who helped out all weekend to keep things running smoothly... Marc Franco, Mill Conroy, Bill Vanderziel, Alex Freund, Sam Rackham, Max Bowers, James Grinstead, Tim Neja, Earl McCutcheon and anyone else who lent a hand!
Thanks to Eddie and BPR for all the track prep and all your help. Great to see old friend Jeff Bigalow in attendance and thanks to all the racers for their support!
People are already talking Parma Checkpoint Cup and January will indeed come quickly!! The next SCRRA monthly race will be the usually scheduled Flat track races on the second Saturday, November 14.
See you there!!

That 4.00 is my best qualifying lap so far, actually my best time period. I had a great new DCR chassis; thanks, Don.
Too bad I ran into braid issues for a couple of heats, that really takes its toll.
Thanks for all you do. Bryan!
It was fun "drafting" you for that one heat, the sportsman that you are offered the pass but I knew I was pushing my limit so I just stayed behind.

Very fun race – thanks to Jim Lange and his Hi Tech chassis getting me into the A!! Very smooth-handling chassis – and special thanks to Ben Sr for the help with HP!!! Definitely made the difference in getting me near the top!!
Looking forward to the Checkpoint!!

I'd just like to throw in my "Thanks" to Spyder (AKA Trigger Monkey) Conroy and our grand master of ceremonies Bryan Warmack for making my weekend participation with you guys just a lot of fun. All I brought out from Tennessee was a car and a controller. Mill preped the tires and changed the pinion for me, and Bryan did an alignment check in hopes I might be able to stay out of harm's way.
Hats of to Sam for his win, and congrats to everyone who had the opportunity to hook up a controller for any of the races at the Retro-Boola Bash.
I hope to make it back for the Checkpoint. so Happy Holidays to all the BPR crew, and a happy new year!!!

Eddie, we don't race on the batteries.
However that is an interesting observation about lap totals.

Just a little cleaner race in the B! I know I lost 4-5 laps to traffic and accidents. I"m sure no one but Sam was immune in the race!
