For some reason, I'm only able to sign in if I check the "sign in anonymously" box. Otherwise, it tells me that no name was entered into the ID box. Strange.

See if the same thing happens when you use a different browser, Jim.

Oddly enough, it works fine now. Not sure what the problem was.

FYI, I typically use Firefox, which automatically adds information (ID and pw) to the sign-in.

In other words: nevermind.

Thanks for the suggestion. Now, I'll just continue reading...

I'm still having problems logging in on both Firefox and IE.

Cleared my cookies and now I'm fine.

Thanks, Cheater. :)

My cookies are cleared, but for some reason I still have issues with FireFox

I think the software here recognizes how awful I am at actual slot car racing and goes on defense trying to block me out and gets some of you by mistake. Just a thought

My problem has continued for several days, prompting me to use IE - heaven forbid!

For some reason, I was able to resume normal sign-in using Firefox. Go figure.

I only use FireFox and have not had any problems at all.

FWIW, guys, there have been no software changes at Slotblog in many months.

I have no clue why a few of you are having issues logging in to the forum.

Greg, I'm convinced you are right when you say it's something on my end that changed, not SB.
I'm noticing a lot of local (political) ads before I get logged in that I never saw before.
As soon as I cleared my cookies, bam, I logged in no problemo.

Is it necessary to clear cookies on all the browsers I use, or just one? I cleared mine on both IE and Mozilla.

For those who still have glitches during log in, I have a suggestion: make double sure your name and password are in the correct boxes before pushing "enter".

In my case, more local ads than normal are trying to load before signing in.
When I do my usual "type username, push Tab, type password, push enter" hyper speed sign-in routine, it loads both username and password into the username box.

Slow down, and watch what goes where. It works for me.

Does that help, Jim B.?

I have never had issues logging in, just replying. I refreshed too many times and finally just gave up. I figured Cheater just disabled my respond feature.

Maybe the software has soft brushes?? :)

I admit that my fingers sometimes get a little frisky on the keyboard, and I can type the wrong info into the wrong box. But that hasn't been the problem for me. Also, when using Firefox, I'm able to prevent cookies from sticking to this PC, while only allowing for auto-fill of the username/password.

It only happened for a few days; all is well again. I have no explanation, other than the knowledge that "technology is wonderful."

Good racing to you, my friends.
