November's D3 hardbody races had a light turnout with our 2nd Chance GTP Enduro coming up on Nov. 29th.
We had two new racers this month along with a racer returning to hardbody racing after a few years.
Paul Frazier of Thornton, Colorado was visiting BPR since he was doing a project in the Phoenix area recently. He drove a loaner hardbody for the first time on the BPR flat track and did very well considering it was his first time on the track. Paul is planning on opening a new large raceway in Thornton, Colorado in the near future. Good luck to Paul on his new raceway business.
Dave Cantwell raced in his first hardbody race as well. Henry Trujillo raced hardbodies again after a long absence. All in all, a good day of racing especially with several new racers participating.
Victor Dubrowsky almost became the first hardbody racer to record a sub 5 sec. lap during a hardbody race on the flat track at BPR. His best lap time of 5.050 seconds was close but we'll have to wait until another race day before the 5 second barrier is broken during a race.
Thanks to Debby and Jim Watterson for their support of D3 Hardbody racing at Buena Park Raceway.
Thanks to our race directors, Victor Dubrowsky and Keith Tanaka.
