The Dungeon Raceway 2016 rules for NASCAR/DTM class say "Interior and numbers not required".

I'm so happy I could dance. :dance3:

My Monte Carlo will use a Durl's interior.

Nicest paper interior in the world. And you can fold them to make a 3D interior just like you did, Pablo.

Do you guys cut around the top of the helmet before you fold it so the top half of the helmet isn't in the fold line?

I did it just like the instructions say. But I'm a beginner at folding them - I've always just run them flat until now.

Pablo, you will immediately notice enhanced speed and handling now that you've installed that paper interior in your car :sarcastic: .  And thank you.   You're such a rebel, and that car looks great.

Don't get me wrong, I love The Dungeon, and I get that they might not want to bother with interiors (well, actually, I don't get that, but its their track...), but why skip the numbers, too?  That I really don't get.  This is smack dab in the middle of Nascar country, and they don't want their cars to even remotely look like race cars???? Is it the .00000001 microns extra weight the decals might add?  Oy vey!

Scott, I've seen a lot of different ways they've been cut, folded and mounted in cars, and the way I designed them is to be folded and trimmed like this here.

This issue with that is that you usually have to trim out the roll bar to fit the roof of the cockpit, and since very few people see it, it's no big deal, IMHO.  I have seen guys trim out just the driver's head, losing the roll bar completely, and I've also seen a guy cut out the drivers head and fold it up, which fits the car much better but leaves a head shaped hole behind it, with the rest of the interior behind the driver laid flat.  I've been impressed with people's creativity in this regard.   Whatever works best for you is the best way to do it.

And can I just take a sec to say "thanks" to all the racing groups and tracks who have allowed paper interiors in their various series?

And Pappy?  You are the best!  Best what, exactly I haven't figured out, :laugh2:  but I love ya!

The other classes require numbers and drivers. I don't know why the owners made that change in the NASCAR class rules. But I was quick to take advantage of it :dance3:

I am the best at promoting "Durl's Interiors", the choice of Champion's, the Ferrari of paper interiors, the Porsche of style and flair. Need I say more?  :dance4:

That's it, Butch!  That's what you're the best at.   And building awesome tracks.  And jigs.  And slot cars.

See why I got confused?  If only you were mediocre.   :sarcastic:

Thanks, Charlie.  And what's really sad is that I'm from Florida.  I'm trying not to take this personally. :cray:
