Hello all,

 

Sorry for the lack of input on my part for the past few months.  As some of you know, I'm going through a period in my life that I would much rather forget about.  I will not be in attendance for the PCPC this year as a racer or tech inspector of the RP.  However, I have asked James Grinstead to take over these duties in my absence.

 

If everything is scheduled as in previous years, RP will be run Friday evening with tech opening at 6:00 P.M.  Qualifying will start at around 6:45 or so.  I hope you all enjoy your time with your racing buddies and make it a memorable event.

 

I'm sorry I'm not going to see our contingent group from Japan but certainly hope I do next year.

Craig, this is John Hegedus. I too have had tough medical year, but let me add this, there is recovery power in prayer and good friends....if you or your family, needs anything [rides to MD's, the store, the pharmacy, ready to eat meals, to get out in fresh air [like on my boat in the LB Harbor, laundry and house cleaning, etc.], I am at your service 24-7. You will not be an imposition in anyway. As with past RP races I can be there to marshal or race direct as needed.

This race falls on a working Friday for me but I should be able to be there by 6ish

Thing aren't to the point that I cannot take care of myself but the pain that I experience is making it hard to enjoy anything. 

 

I'm keeping an open mind that one of these doctors will stumble onto a solution very soon.  That is, before I go broke...

Bad new on my side, looks like I'll be working later than hoped.

I'll try to make it to help out but I might not get there until 8pm or so.
