Mr. Yo Yo gave me some secret advice at last year's Cozine Classic

This is what happens when you're too cheap to upgrade to jig wheels that reflect modern clearances :D

Here's my Can Am, this was my Lucky 13 Thingie Proxy race chassis before I reduced the plumbered and tilting pans to just tilting:

That one's Top Secret, I can't say.

Just kidding, Bill  :sarcastic_hand:

The red Ferrari is the (former) Lucky 13 chassis, my current favorite Can Am.

Now that the cars are ready, I need to practice my YoYo

That's a good question. I share Cheater's frustration in raceways failing to utilize free advertisement resources.

Namely, the Slotblog calendar. It's a great tool when planning when and where to race.

Or, at least, it could be if raceways provided the info :o

No mention whatsoever of the Second Annual Cozine Classic (8/9 January, Bill).

No mention of the USRA National Championship in August.

Practically none of my X12 motor parts are USRA legal, so I have abandoned my plan of attending the 2016 USRA Div I Nats.

The 2016 rules aren't even out yet, so who knows what will, and won't, be legal.

Koford M505 Super Feather can - not legal.

Champion X12 armatures - not legal.

Mura and Pro Slot magnets - not legal.

So, I just dusted off my old G12 car, trued up some fresh wheels, and will take some fun wing car laps for old times sake at the Cozine Classic

IMG_8586.JPG

I knew the old BOW arm wouldn't be legal. It still sings nice after sitting on a shelf for a couple years

The Second Annual Cozine Classic at SpeedZone Hobbies was an absolute blast.

Left to right, Merry Muffin thrashing in the pits, Stan Hutson, Bob, Gary (purple shirt), Troy, and ? (somebody please help me here)

IMG_8933.JPG

Troy ended up winning the GTP A main. His 8 yr. old daughter is a force to be reckoned with as well
