We wrapped up our inaugural season at Flashbacks Model Raceway with great racing and fun just like we've had all year! A big thanks to Tina Black for running the parts counter and to Larry Black for running the races all day long, it was very much appreciated! JK products provided some great race prizes too, just as they did for our first race.

We had 55 entries from 6 states join in the day's fun. That brought our series total to 270 entries over 6 events. Thank you to every single person who participated this year.

As always the Can Am cars would do battle first. Brian Ambrose came prepared and grabbed the pole. Once the race started Brian and Troy Johnson raced hard all race long, swapping the lead several times. With just a few seconds left Brian got my Troy and captured his second OSS win of 2015. Casey Dill rounded out the podium with a nice run just a few laps behind the winner.

Congratulations to Jay Guard, he is your 2015 OSS Can-Am points Champion!

Up next was 4-inch NASCAR on the Paperclip.I grabbed the pole by a narrow margin over James. In the A-Main James ran into some bad luck in the first two heats which allowed me to stretch out an early lead. At the end of the race I ran into the same bad luck and the race got very close! Luckily I was able to hold on for the win and secure the overall points championship. Mid-South regular Shane Parent was able to hold on for third his first on the track

The final race of the day and year was the always fast, fun and close GTP cars. The top 13 cars were all qualified within a tenth and a half of each other so it was anyone's race to win. The race ended with myself and James finsihing first and second just as we did in Nascar. Third through seventh all finished within three laps of each other. Current USRA National Champion Bobby Beauchemin rounded off the podium.

Well, that concludes the 2015 season. Once again a huge thanks to all who raced from near and far. We'll do it again starting next February. Keep yours open for the final points standing, next years schedule and more!

Curious how if I have 243 in GTP how Taylor and Bud are ahead of me with less laps.
