Even with Christmas less than a week away, we had a very good turnout for December's D3 Hardbody races at Buena Park Raceway.
A lot of fun, close racing as usual with some new cars racing for the first time. The first race was a "mixed" race for any D3 hardbody racing class.
With a total of 17 entries, we had two mains. The first main consisted of a field of eight 3 C's cars. Hector Gonzalez set the pace with a fast lap of 5.046 on black and won with a race total of 252 laps.
The second main was 9 entries with a good mix of different racing classes. Keith Tanaka, Eddie Shorer and Mel Moon finished one, two. three.
The final race of the day was the GTP-NASCAR race. 12 entries with 7 GTPs and 5 NASCARs. It was a very close race with Jay Henry winning and Eddie Shorer and Victor Dubrowsky not far behind.
Thanks to our race directors, Victor Dubrowsky, Ken Dylke, Hector Gonzalez, Eddie Shorer and Keith Tanaka.
Thanks to Debby and Jim Watterson and Eddie for supporting D3 Hardbody Racing at BPR.
