I loved reading his posts, even when he was having a "dig" at me.
Zippity, that has much respect. Thank you for that.

Yes, he did. And it will live on.

Just logged on first time this year OMG! Bought a chassis from Duffy last winter, had a wonderful half-hour conversation with him about slot cars, music, and more. Stunned.
So sorry, Robin, he was a cool dude!
Rest in peace, my friend.

Here's Duffy getting another concours win at RetroPalooza.
And hanging out with Jeff "Chewy" Bates at the Fall Brawl.

He was truly a character among characters.
As well as the creator of truly well-engineered chassis kits that had all the tricky wire bending done accurately to make them idiot-proof and included all of the little fiddly bits.
A great loss to the hobby as well as its participants.
Duf, you will be missed!
RIP.

Condolences to his family. Always a good guy to me. I'd like to think he and Rocky Russo (Professor Fate) are racing on the most beautiful track that ever was now.

I haven't been able to get to Slotblog in a while and I'm saddened by this news.
RIP, Duffy, you will surely be missed.

I missed the exact date due to a whole range of reasons, but I wanted to say Duffy, we miss you. As far as I was concerned you were first "Professor Fate's" buddy, then as part of the team of "Heinrich and Russo", and finally as Duffy who would help me with online advice and give me the shirt off his back. His dry humor and willingness to help was terrific! Tough to believe it's two years already. I wish I could have said goodbye.
Never forget............
