Hello guys!

I'm French and I practice since 1982 1/32 on wood track's slot .
My english is not good. Please excuse me.
If you answer, please write whitth short sentences. Thanks. :D

I stopped the slot in 1993 and today in 2016, I'm retired.
I start a season in Wing Cars to Blue King Club in Germany – Brülh.

Club races are SpayGlue. Cars have G27 pro engines.

Some information about me:

- In 1982, I built my first Sport Europe 1/32 chassis

- In 1985 I created the MF brand (the name of my daughter: Marie-France)

In 1986 the MF chassis is French champion in Sport Europe 1/32.

Driver is Serge Villemin. Thank you very much, Serge!

- In 1989 I build my own wood track: 21 meters, 3-way.

- In 1993 I stop slot.

In 2008, I experience on plastic track whith NSR cars. Not exciting enough... In 2015, I'm retired.

2015 November, I help a friend to renovate its 4-way wood track. A Raceways REVELL 1966. This track is in the south of France and we can repeat races in February 2016.

I begin my Wing cars's season in Brühl February 13, 2016. :king:

From home to the track there is 1000 km!!!

I'm perhaps the only French driver to drive a Wing Car competition in 2016.
If there are other French's drivers would be happy to know them.

I would share with you my rookie year of Wing cars's experience . And if you have any advice for me to drive on a Blue King, don't hesitate!

See you soon.

Sloteur,

Welcome back to slots and to Slotblog. Sorry I can't help too much with Wing racing as I only occasionally race Gp-12. Most of my racing is Retro. I think you may like it too. Just like your winning 1/32 car,Retro cars run front wheels. And you obviously have scratch building experience. :good:

And don't worry about your English. I had no problem understanding your post. Which is more than I can say for posts by  some of our American born bloggers.

Hi Sloteur13 & welcome to Slotblog. I'm not going to be of much more help than is Sam. I last ran competitive wing cars in 1981, so any knowledge I have is old & out-dated. Today's wing cars are totally different than what I ran back then. In this area of the US, the last of the commercial raceways closed in 2010. There is a 4-lane wooden track at a club about 15 miles from my house. I like the photos of the 4-lane Revell track you helped your friend restore. If I had the room, I wouldn't mind owning a track like that. Hopefully, someone with current wing racing knowledge will post to this thread. Even if they don't, post any questions as you get them. Have fun with your wing cars!

My driving advice on a King wouldn't help too much looking at my recent success rate...But if you do have some particular problems I try to help. Your best bet is to ask from Brühl guys, Peter and Klaus are so helpful and skilled. To see some really fast driving you must go to Pilsen (European Championships in March). And we will see again in Brühl next December?

Btw, J-P did feel at home, Brühl last December...
